"I wanted something special for a
dear friend whose birthday was just round the corner. Then it came to me
as he was an ex Chief Petty Officer, he had a favourite ship that he
spent 2 years on. Why not give him a navy blue baseball cap embroidered
with the ships name on it. I had a copy of the logo of the Boom Defence
Vessel which I wanted placed below the ships name.
"I checked the Navy News and came upon
ABS Embroidery. I looked up their web-site, and it stated that it could
do all these things for me. ABS were very helpful and kept me informed
of the progress of the item that I ordered. In the end when I received
the cap, it was exactly what I wanted. The workmanship on it was
exceptional. The look on the face of an "Old Sea Dog" was a picture.
Since then I have ordered 2 further caps with ships names embroidered
and below it, the years that I spent on it. They too were perfect
