Embroidering Items supplied by you

I am happy to take on the embroidery of your own garments or other items, subject to a minimum charge of £3.50. You should however, note the following "small print", which is an extract of ABS Embroidery's Terms and Conditions.

Garments being embroidered are subjected to a mechanical process. Whilst the very best care is taken with every item, any and all items submitted to ABS Embroidery, which are the property of the customer or any third party on whose behalf the customer is acting, are submitted entirely at the customer’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted at law ABS Embroidery will not be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the embroidery of a customer’s own items. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of property, income or profit, of or damage to property and claims of third parties. Submission of items for embroidery indicates acceptance by the customer of these terms.
These terms are included in the general Terms and Conditions of Trading with ABS Embroidery.

Carriage Charges

Carriage is charged according to the weight of the goods being sent. The cost is added to that of your order and will be included in your invoice. Carriage is not charged if goods are collected.
Local delivery can be arranged at a charge to be agreed.

VAT

At the time of writing, ABS Embroidery is not registered for VAT, so the price you see is the price you pay (plus carriage).

However, this is subject to the law in force at the time and may change without notice.

Setup Charge

At our discretion, and subject to certain exceptions, a once-only fee of £25 is usually charged for the initial digitisation, set-up and testing of designs that are not held in stock.

I do not usually charge for setting up simple textual personalisation using standard fonts, but please enquire before placing an order.

At the moment, and for a limited period, the setting-up of logos of 10,000 stitches or fewer is free of charge, but this offer is subject to review and may be curtailed at any time.

Personalisation

Personalisation, to a maximum of three lines additional to the main embroidery (such as individual names etc) is charged thus:
First Line - £2.50
Second and third lines 50p each

Please note that these prices apply only where other embroidery is already being undertaken and not to items where only personalisation is required, for which the minimum charge applies to items supplied by you and the garment price applies to items supplied by ABS Embroidery.

Small Orders

I am very pleased to be able to operate a genuine NO MINIMUM ORDER policy on most lines (excluding Teddy Bear clothing, some towels and badges). Prices are arranged in four scales of 1 to 6, 7 - 12, 13 to 24 and 25 plus items. Each scale refers to the number of items you buy in each range.

For example:

You order 46 garments
Comprising	6 x SS82M	15 x SS33M	25 x 134F

You pay	1- 6 scale	13-24 scale	25 plus scale

The exceptions to this are Teddy Bears, Cummerbunds and one or two other items which only have one price band, or which are charged at different rates.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are strictly Payment With Order (except by arrangement)
Accounts may be available for business customers only, subject to Terms and Conditions.

Methods of Ordering and Payment

Increased Prices for Large Garments

Please check the price list carefully when ordering garments size 3XL and bigger as they are usually a little more expensive.

Garment Sizes

Different manufacturers use different sizing scales. Please check the Size Guide on page 32 if you are not sure which size you want.

Availability and Lead Times

ABS Embroidery does not hold stock, but obtains goods to order from various suppliers. Every effort is made to supply items as ordered, but on very rare occasions, this may not be possible. Sometimes it may be necessary to substitute items of a value that is equal or greater than those ordered. Whenever possible, I will discuss this with you first.

I aim to complete and ship all orders within 28 days of confirmation but I am prepared to meet reasonable deadlines wherever possible, subject to workload. Please feel free to call and discuss this.

Acceptance of Externally Digitised Files

ABS Embroidery will accept digitised embroidery files which have been digitised by third parties subject to the following conditions:

1. Any such file submitted to ABS Embroidery will undergo a thorough check for viruses and other potential infections using our installed security software before being accepted and may be subject to further checking thereafter.
2. Files submitted are in a format which can be read by our software, preferably DST.
3. The person submitting the files for embroidery has permission to do so.
